The Azerbaijani Constitutional Court (ACC) explained the concept of a person who has committed a crime for the first time, and does not pose great danger to society

During the Plenary Meeting the Court considered the matter to introduce comments to the concept "a person, who has committed a crime for the first time, and does not pose great danger to society" in connection with Shirvan Appeals Court's appeal.

Article 72 (Release of criminal liability in connection with the active repentance), 73 (Release of criminal liability in connection with reconciliation with the victims) and 74 (Release of criminal liability in connection with changing circumstances) of the Criminal Code (CC) includes this comprehension

According to the decision, a person who has committed the crime, do not pose a great danger to society is a person who has committed one or more crimes of this kind, and who was not made answerable before at the court.
