On Jan. 27, Azerbaijan and Iran signed an agreement on youth cooperation. Document was signed by deputy head of the national youth organization of Iran Mohammed Sadig Akberi and director of youth sector of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Farhad Hajiyev.

Under the agreement, a delegation consisting of 18 representatives of the Iranian youth will visit the science camp of Azerbaijani, and the Azerbaijani delegation in the same composition will visit Iran to get familiarized with the implemented public programs and conducted cultural work in the two countries. Upon the plan, in October, four representatives of the Ministry of Youth of Azerbaijan will visit Iran, and in 2011 the Iranian side will visit Azerbaijan. The agreement also envisages creating conditions for the participation of representatives of the two countries at international meetings, exchange of views on legislative matters related to youth.
