A criminal case filed on the daughter of Rafsanjani, Faiza Hashemi and his son Mehdi Hashemi, Iranian Justice Minister Murtaza Bakhtiari was quoted as saying by FARS agency.
Earlier, children of the Advisory Board chairman and former Iranian President Ali Hashemi Rafsanjani, Mehdi and Faiza al-Hashimi have repeatedly been accused on causing disorder in the country.
Large-scale actions to protest the results of presidential elections, held in June 2009, were organized in the country. Thousands of protesters were arrested and dozens of people were killed during the public unrest. Two members of rallies were executed last week.
Daughter of Hashemi Rafsanjani Faiza have been arrested twice during rallies, while Mehdi Hashemi is in the UK for several months.
According Bakhtiari, people accused of involvement in the riots after the presidential elections in Iran are under trial.
