The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, providing special support to the development of Azerbaijani culture and mugam , published a music album on the occasion of 70th anniversary of the People's Artist of Azerbaijan Janali Akbarov, the fund reported.
The publication, prepared by high-level printing, includes an album about the life and work of the performer, the Foundation said. The music album consists of four books and CDs. Album deals with childhood and youth of the singer and his creative path, rich with unforgettable events.
Akbarov was born in a musical family in Lankaran, which one of the beautiful places of Azerbaijan, and continued the path of his grandfather and father who were also singers. Later, he received skill lessons in Baku in the Mugam studio of Khan Shushunski at the Philharmonics. The influence of this school is accompanied by his entire career.
Included in the CDs, the musical examples reflect the creative way of the singer. They are mughams " Mahur-Hindi ", "Zabul Segah", " Dugah ", "Shahnaz", " Sima Shams", " Karabakh Shikestesi ", Mansuriyya, and folk songs.
The new project of Heydar Aliyev Foundation replenished the previously issued music albums "Garabag khanendeleri", "World of Mugam", multimedia collection of "Azeri Mugam", music albums on the life and work of Mugam masters Alibaba Mammadov, Arif Babayev, People's Artist Agakhan Abdullayev and Kamancha (national musical tool) player Habil Aliyev.
