Azerbaijani youth forum to be created in Georgia

The Azerbaijani youth forum Georgia-Our Motherland will be created in Georgia upon the initiative of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Georgia (CAG).
"The forum will be created to unite and support their integration into Georgian society," CAG Chairman Ali Babayev told Trend News today.
The founding congress will be held March 17 at the Cinema House in Tbilisi, he said.
"The congress will be attended by representatives of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia, Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Diaspora, the Georgian Reintegration Ministry, and Azerbaijani and Georgianpublic figures," Babayev said.
The Congress of Azerbaijanis in Georgia was established March 17, 2008 in Tbilisi by about 20 Azerbaijani NGOs. The purpose of the congress is to help Azerbaijani integrate into Georgian society and studying ways to resolve their problems.
According to unofficial information, about 500,000 Azerbaijanis live in the region of Kvemo Kartli (Borchali) in Georgia.
