The Center of Information Technologies of the Azerbaijani Public Association "Ireli" launches the action "Karabakh - it is closer than you think" within the events to inform the world community about Nagorno-Karabakh. The action has a symbolic character. Its main purpose is to show people that the occupied territories are much closer than other regions of the country, the association said.
Posters with the names of the occupied territories have been prepared for the action. The distance to the occupied lands has been also shown on the posters. These posters will be fixed in all secondary and higher educational institutions, as well as on the streets of Baku. Moreover, the information in different languages will be sent on e-mail addresses of more than 5,000 local and international organizations, governmental agencies to tell the truth about the genocide of Azerbaijanis March 31. The volunteers of the Public Association "Ireli" will hold e-rally at the central office of "Ireli" at 12.00 p.m. 31 March 2010.
