The Azerbaijani Embassy in Kyrgyzstan is waiting for another Azerbaijani citizen to be evacuated from Osh.

Sabir Karimov, a graduate of Osh State University, will be delivered to the embassy today, Adviser to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kyrgyzstan Ilgar Jabbarov told Trend.

The Osh city authorities and Kyrgyz senior officials promised to facilitate Karimov's evacuation. The embassy is in constant contact with the individual in question, who is staying in a safe place, Jabbarov said.

Karimov's parents called the embassy this week to find out the location of their son. Afterward, the diplomatic mission immediately contacted the city authorities and found Karimov.

The Azerbaijani citizens, who came to the country for whatever reasons, do not stand up to register at the embassy in time and it creates big problems for the diplomatic mission during emergencies, Jabbarov noted. The embassy does not know about their whereabouts in advance and thus, faces serious difficulties, he said.

The embassy prepares documents of other students - two Azerbaijanis, who had been evacuated from the dangerous area.

As soon as the plane tickets are purchased, they will be sent to Baku, Jabbarov said.

Three of the 13 Azerbaijani students who were evacuated from the Jalalabad region of Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek are citizens of Azerbaijan, others - the citizens of Georgia, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elkhan Polukhov told Trend earlier.

A total of 600 Azerbaijanis reside in Osh and Jalalabad.
