The organization - the Institute of values has been founded to promote Western values in Georgia. It was founded by John Smith fellows. His council included parliamentarians Dmitry Lordkipanidze and Azerbaijani Ramin Bayramov.

The main objective of the institute is to promote public awareness, introduce transparent forms of cooperation between the government and people, strengthen the tradition of local participation while making decisions and promote wide dissemination of democratic values. It was noted at the presentation in the parliament today.

"There are still many organizations operating under the slogans of freedom and values. But the situation in this direction only indicates that these organizations do not adequately fulfill their mandate," Lordkipanidze said.

Members, participating in the organization, intend to help the Institute in its activities and objectives, including implementation of relevant legislative initiatives.
