About 24,080 entrants in Azerbaijan claim for the vacant places in universities and colleges on the basis of eleven-year-education, the State Student Admission Commission spokesman Elnur Naghizade told Trend.
"About 31,000 entrants have submitted documents to special colleges on the basis of a nine-year education. The results will be announced tomorrow. The public will be informed immediately about any possible changes associated with the announcement of the results, " Naghizade said.
The commission extended a range of specialties in special colleges for the entrants till August 11. The procedure should have been completed August 10 at midnight.
There are 2,757 vacant places in Azerbaijani universities. Documents can be submitted to special colleges on the basis of a nine-year education till 12:00 August 11.
