The Media Academy invited deputy chief editor of the "Kaspi" newspaper Kanan Guluzade, who held training on conflict-journalism for the students.

The meeting focused on topics such as features of the conflict-journalism, the history of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, journalists' attitude towards this issue, the Academy said.

There are only 10 journalists in Azerbaijan, who are engaged in this sphere, and these reporters often cooperate with foreign media, the report said.

The participants then divided into several groups and carried out their tasks.

The academy is part of the Irali Public Association. It offers young people the chance to realize their projects, to intern in leading news agencies, newspapers, and radio and television stations, and to learn the secrets of the field by communicating with industry experts. The academy's courses aimed to train open-minded, educated and professional young journalists.
