Employees of the Constitutional Security Department of the Georgian Interior Ministry arrested six directors and seven accountants of kindergartens in Kutaisi on charges of embezzling state funds.
According to the Interior Ministry, Iveta Geguchadze, Lali Tevdoradze, Mzia Sanadze, Keti Panchulidze, Tsisana Kublashvili, Tinatin Svanidze, Lamzira Liklikadze, Mzekala Charkviani and others were arrested.
According to investigators, these individuals over the past two years were in conspiracy with entrepreneurs and misappropriated money allocated for child food. According to preliminary data, during this time they have misappropriated about 2 million lari ($1 = 1.75 lari).
Ten years of imprisonment face them for this crime.
