Azerbaijani products caused great interest at the exhibition in California.
The products of several Azerbaijani companies, including Azersun Holding, Aznar, M-Pro, Sirab, Badamli and Hadji Jamalhan were first presented at the largest exhibition of specialized food products in San Francisco, western region of the U.S., the general consulate of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles said.
Roughly 1,300 producers from 35 world countries participated there. Their participation became possible due to the support from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development, AZPROMO and the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles.
The quality and assortment of Azerbaijani products, in particular the pomegranate juice and fruit jam, caused great interest among 17,000 visitors. The pomegranate sauce and feijoa products were included by the exhibition organizers in a special category of new products deserving special attention
Executive Director of Azerbaijan Investment Company Afgan Isayev attended the exhibition. He held preliminary talks with representatives of the parties interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan. He also discussed potential joint projects with President of the Commerce Chamber of San Francisco, Steve Falk. Isayev spoke about the activity of Azerbaijan Investment Company and noted that the development of the food industry, biotechnologies and other areas is a part of a purposeful policy of the Azerbaijani leadership to diversify the economy.
