Azerbaijan considers the possibility of imposing a ban on the use of audio equipment by intercity bus drivers. In this regard, the bill on amending the Administrative Code was prepared and proposed to the Azerbaijani Parliament for discussion.

Azerbaijanconsidersthe possibility of imposing a ban on the use of audio equipment by intercity bus drivers. In this regard, the bill on amending the Administrative Code was prepared and proposed to the Azerbaijani Parliament for discussion.

According to the changes, the use of audio equipment in public transport is considered a violation of the rules of passengers. Afine worth 40-50 manatis envisaged.

The audio equipment includesradio, tape recorders or other means for listening to music, the Head of Public RelationsDepartment of the State Traffic Police of the Interior Ministry Kamran Aliyevtold Trend.

The audio equipment can be used only if it is related to the transportation process, he said.

Aliyev said thatmost foreign countries use the audio equipment to inform passengers about stops.

The bill will be discussed at the next session of the Azerbaijani Parliament.

The Ministry of Transport observes executing the articles of the Code of Administrative Offences related to infringement of the rules of passenger transportation.
