The new Culture TV channel was opened in Azerbaijan today. The head of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration's socio-political department Ali Hasanov said that opening the Culture TV channel is a significant event.
Hasanov said the channel will make a great contribution to the promotion of Mugham.
The tender announced by the National Television and Radio Council was gained by Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting JSC.
Honoured art worker Jamil Guliyev has been appointed the director general of the new TV channel.
