The State Students Admission Commission will appeal to the Press Council to check the work of bachelors who wish to continue journalism education, the head of the State Commission Maleyka Abbaszade said at a news conference on Friday.

"We will apply to the Press Council for it to express its opinion on the issue of inspections. Perhaps, our estimates and requirements are understated. The Press Council calls for deeper knowledge. We will discuss the assessment procedure with the Press Council", she said.

"There are students who have graduated from the Faculty of Journalism, but they are not able to work on the topics that we offer them. Sometimes they write about the topic which is completely unrelated to the proposed theme," she said.
