Zeyno Bryza, the wife of Matthew Bryza, U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan, stayed as a guest with the Association of Women-Journalists. Association's Chief Sevil Yusifova informed the guest about the activity of the organization.
Later on, Bryza told about her course of life and work. She said that her parents had also been journalists, that she had received education in the U.S., and that she thinks a woman should first of all believe in herself.
"When I decided to study abroad I, naturally, felt disgust of people around me. Many told me that I would not succeed and that the life in the US was hard. But I coped with it. I graduated from the Stanford University's Faculty of International Relations. I started my career, everything went successfully. First of all, I believed in myself", Bryza said.
She said she was fully delighted at beauties of Baku and Nakhchivan and that she considers Azerbaijan her native country and will continue her activity here.
Later, Azerbaijani journalists asked Bryza number of questions, and exchanged views on relations between Azerbaijan and the U.S., the social situation of women and other issues.
