Measures, which are implemented in connection with water supply on water pipeline Oguz-Gabala-Baku to the capital, will cause inconveniences for road traffic at some streets and avenues of the capital.
With the aim of improvement of water supply to the population of Baku, connection works for water supply from the pipeline Oguz-Gabala-Baku have begun at 25 sites in the territory of the capital, Vagif Asadov, Chief of Department of the Main State Traffic Police Division of Baku, told Trend.
In connection with excavation works being carried out at the crossing between Metbuat Avenue and Firudin Agayev Street, at Shafayat Mehdiyev Street toward the Alatava water storehouse (the street in front of Lider TV), from the circle in the 3rd micro-district toward the Nasimi subway (close to the Zarifa Aliyeva Park), at the Eight Kilometer Settlement: at Nakhchyvanski Street and Kocharli Street, from the Mohammed Hadi Street to the Ukraine Circle, from the January 20 Circle toward Tbilisi Avenue on the right side of the road from the Diagnostic Center to the Cycle Track, at the crossing of Azadlyg Avenue and Dilara Aliyev Street (from the Jafar Jabbarly Monument to Shamsi Badalbayli Street, the roads have been narrowed.
The narrowing of roads may cause certain problems for road traffic, Asadov said.
"Therefore, we ask drivers to be attentive while driving these streets and roads and observe the rules to avoid traffic jams", the Chief of Department said.
