Georgian Interior Ministry's General Inspection Chief Vasil Sanodze will be treated in one of the clinics in Israel. Sanodze's family wanted Sanodze to be treated abroad, Tbilisi Ghudushauri Clinics told Trend.

Doctors referred them to Israel, which has extensive experience treating gunshot wounds. The Clinic said that Sanodze had a perforating wound in the frontal part and the operation was successful. His condition is serious but stable.

Sanodze has already been delivered to Israel.

According to the official version, Sanodze was wounded in his head when cleaning his service weapon.

Vasil Sanodze's name was involved in the scandalous murder of Sandro Girgvliani. According to the deceased Girgvliani's family, Sanodze was among those with whom Girgvliani disputed. According to family members, he is a customer of Girgvliani's murder. He ordered the Interior Ministry's four staff members to kill him; they have served sentences for Girgvliani's murder.
