Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov signed an order approving an action plan to implement a social program to curb trafficking.

According to the order, the heads of ministry departments, local education authorities and educational institutions must ensure fulfillment of the action plan and to inform the ministry's leadership about done measures annually in December.

According to the action plan, the ministry's education system information management jointly with relevant agencies should develop proposals to improve legislation to intensify the protection of children from information that could be harmful to their morals, health and development in 2011-2012.

Legal, psychological and medical care, social services should be provided and involvement in education should be ensured for children and adolescents living in dangerous circumstances, as well as those included in the human trafficking risk group.

Educational activities on the safe use of the Internet should also be carried out.
