The testimony on Kazakh citizen Aynur Ahmetova injured in the U.S has been obtained, the Foreign Ministry said.

"First, Aynur was swimming in a pool and afterwards was found unconscious," the statement said. "There were no surveillance cameras in the hotel where the incident occurred."

Kazakh student Aynur Ahmetova taking part in the Work and Travel education program in the United States is in a coma.

The source said the girl was found unconscious near a motel pool by police. Blood tests did not reveal drugs or alcohol.

The doctors said that Aynur's state remains critical. No bruises, abrasions or other signs of abuse were revealed.

This issue is under special control of the Kazakh Consulate General in New York.

The Kazakh Foreign Ministry assisted Aynur's sister Zarina Ahmetova to get visa and to arrive in the U.S.
