Iran to test biological contentment to launch space

Iran will test biological contentment to launch an alive animal to space, IRNA reported quoting head of Iran's Space Organization Hamid Fazeli as saying.

Iran will launch Explorer 5 satellite designed and made by Iranian Space Agency with biological contentment to send a real animal to the space in near future.

Iran launched Explorer 4 to the space in March 2011 with a monkey doll.

Earlier, Fazel said in an interview with ISNA that t he satellite is equipped with a life capsule for carrying Zeus monkey to the space. The monkey has passed one-year training.

This satellite will be sent to the height of 120 kilometers in space. The monkey is simulating a human being, which is intended to research biological and environmental issues.
