There is no need to suspend classes in schools during the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov believes.

There is no need to suspend classes in schools during the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov believes.

The contest events will be held at certain places of Baku, at the same time, the classes in secondary schools will be coming to an end, Mardanov told journalists on Tuesday.

According to Mardanov, at present, interruption of the studies in schools is not considered.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Baku Crystal Hall which is under construction near the State Flag Square.

The Eurovision 2012 semi-final rounds will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26.

Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
