The department of the state Historical-Architectural Reserve 'Icherisheher' continues preparations for foreign tourists and visitors who will come to the Eurovision 2012 song contest, to have a good time in the Inner City and Gala reserves.

Employees of hotels as well as canteens and trade centres have completed attending English courses. Uniforms were prepared for museum guides.

An interesting project called 'Ask me' will be launched on the eve of the Eurovision song contest. According to the project, local and foreign volunteers will walk through the territory of the Inner City in T-shirts with the words 'Ask me' to inform tourists and give them pamphlets and promotional materials. At present, volunteers involved in the project are undergoing training.

Three additional information centres have been created to inform the tourists about tours.

Scaffolding and other equipment installed in the Maiden's Tower were dismantled in connection with the completion of the first phase of the museum and conservation work in the Tower which is a Baku landmark. At present the work is underway to expand the exposition.

A number of canteens offering delicious meals based on the national cuisine were opened to increase the number of catering facilities.
