Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry plans to hold II International Forum of culturologists on June 12-13, the Ministry told Trend on Friday.
The purpose of the event is to ensure the participation of science in the implementation of tasks facing cultural policy, implemented in the country, to organise close collaboration with relevant research organisations operating in foreign countries, to promote culturology, and to support research aimed at increasing the value of culture in the development of state and society.
Along with the local experts, participation of representatives of the United Kingdom, Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan is expected.
The main topic of the event is "Role of cultural policies in development of state."
