IDEA Campaign keeps promoting innovative approaches to the solution of environmental problems since its establishment and in order to keep the harmony between environment and art the campaign will organise the first ever "International Green Graffiti" festival in May 2013, as a part of "environmental art" project series, IDEA said.
The project aims to inform and raise awareness in public about global environmental problems by means of graffiti art and this project overall will be a great opportunity for young artists of Azerbaijan to create and promote a new - environmental art direction in their activities.
Those people who are interested in graffiti art and want to participate in the festival, where also young artists of this sphere from the UK, Turkey and Georgia will take part, should send their CVs and sketches of their works to [email protected] in "jpeg" format. The works should be in the topic of "environment", "nature", "animals", "green thinking" and other environmental issue.
20 April, 2013 is the deadline for applications. After the evaluation of jury during the festival, the works of participants will be awarded with I, II and III places and valuable prizes accordingly.
It should be noted that IDEA Campaign was established on July 12, 2011 by the Vice-president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva.
