Minister of Agriculture Ismet Abbasov and chancellors of the leading agricultural universities of several CIS member states - Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Belarus and Moldova, visited Ganja, Kapaz TV reported on Thursday.
The minister, the head of the Executive Authority of the city of Ganja and the chancellors and representatives of the public visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Then a meeting of the CIS Agricultural Universities Chancellors Council took place with participation of the Minister of Agriculture Ismet Abbasov.
The Council was established in 2003.
