Libya has launched a programme aimed at attracting revolutionaries who fought for the change of power in the country to study and enter public service, Al Jazeera channel reported on Monday.

The programme is designed by the Commission on Fighters for the Libyan revolution together with the UN. Under the programme the revolutionaries will be sent to study, including abroad. Those interested will be employed in the construction, security and military fields.

About 18,000 students will be sent to study and more than 500,000 people will be employed.

The programme is aimed at ensuring employment of ex-combatants to prevent radical terrorist groups from involving them in the organisation of terrorist attacks in the country.
