The Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports and UN Development Programme (UNDP) will hold an International Model UN Security Council Conference for the first time in the country in October.
The conference will last four days. Students and the graduates from 45 universities from 15 member UN Security Council states will take part in the event, a UNDP representative in Azerbaijan told Trend on Thursday.
As part of the conference preparations, a delegation of employees from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and UNDP with the head of the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Intigam Babayev will visit the UN headquarters in New York on August 26-30.
