The Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences continues expanding its network of seismic telemetry stations, the center said today.
According to the report, the construction and installation operations of four more seismic telemetry stations onshore have been completed in Azerbaijan. They have started their work. The Agdam, Fuzuli, Beylagan and Yardimli seismic stations are among them.
Thus, around 35 seismic telemetry stations are operating onshore in Azerbaijan. Moreover, the Republican Seismological Service Center installed 21 GPS-stations in the country during this year. The work on the installation of another GPS- station in the territory of Saatli region is under completion, the report says.
