On September 20 Coca-Cola will gather its associates, partners, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations and all those, who are interested, for the 5th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day to clear the coastal line of Caspian Sea.

On September 20 Coca-Cola will gather its associates, partners, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations and all those, who are interested, for the 5th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day to clear the coastal line of Caspian Sea.

Buzovna coast will be cleaned in frames of this campaign. This action has been supported by Coca-Cola Company for 19 years and is the world's largest volunteer effort of collecting millions of pounds of trash and debris from beaches, lakes and waterways. The first mobile provider in Azerbaijan Bakcell will join this campaign for the first time this year. EcoSfera non-governmental organization and information and entertainment portal Friday.az will support Coastal Cleanup Day for the first time as well. National Olympic Committee, ADA University, Təmiz Şəhər Company and YouthInc, program for young etrepreneurs, are regular partners of the campaign.

The campaign will be held on the territory of Buzovna coast on September 20, 2014 under "Pick it up, Clean it up, Sea change" slogan. All participants will be provided with transport, t-shirts, beverages, food and necessary equipment by Coca-Cola Company.

In frames of the same campaign in 2013 6 tons of debris was collected from the territory of 26 hectares in Mardakan district. Last year around 650 000 friends of Coca-Cola Company from 27 countries joined this initiative cleaning 20 000 km of coastline.
