Azerbaijan Automobile Federation to implement social projects on road safety (PHOTO)
Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec. 28
Azerbaijan Automobile Federation started the implementation of social projects related to road safety, a message from the federation's press service said Dec. 28.
These social projects cover people of various ages and are focused on their awareness in road safety.
Drawing classes are being held at preschool institutions and secondary schools as part of the project on promotion of the traffic rules.
During the classes, titled "Learn with pictures", and held in collaboration with Azerbaijan's Education Ministry, schoolchildren and pupils of kindergartens are told about traffic rules and importance of complying with them.
Coloring drawings, provided by the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation, children learn the traffic rules.
Also, some cinemas in Baku show videos dedicated to road safety, which were prepared by the Automobile Federation.
These videos have been so far shown by the Azerbaijani TV channels and on the screens throughout Baku.
The demonstration of the videos, which started at the Nizami Cinema Center and Park Cinema, is planned to continue in the future with the videos on other topics in various cinemas.
Aside from that, a number of restaurants and cafes in Baku are holding campaigns related to road safety, under the initiative of the Automobile Federation.
In particular, the publications, which tell that driving drunk can lead to serious road accidents, are being distributed.
This social project is being implemented as part of the mobility policy of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation, which is a member of the International Automobile Federation.
