Some 11 Azerbaijani citizens involved in conflict zones abroad detained

The Azerbaijani border guards detained 11 citizens in 2015 who participated in the hostilities in the conflict zones abroad, the Azerbaijani State Border Service said at a meeting as of 2015.
The State Border Service revealed seven Azerbaijani citizens and one foreigner during this period suspected of having the relations with the foreign intelligence agencies, two citizens of Azerbaijan involved in the cooperation with the foreign intelligence services. Some 11 Azerbaijani citizens, who fought in the conflict zones abroad, were detained. Some 16 organized criminal groups, involved in smuggling and drug trafficking, were neutralized.
Some 73 Azerbaijani vessels, 19 - Russian vessels, 6 - Iranian vessels, 1 - Kazakh vessels, 6 - Turkmen vessels, 363 small vessels belonging to Azerbaijan were inspected as part of the border regime in the Caspian Sea.
