Baku's Court of Heinous Crimes has sentenced Rauf Mirkadyrov, the employee of Zerkalo (Mirror) newspaper to the six-year-imprisonment in a strict security penal colony.

At the previous trial, the public prosecutor called for the seven year-imprisonment.
However, proceeding from the article of the Criminal Code, envisaging a more lenient punishment, the prosecutor called for commuting the sentence.

The investigation was held by the National Security Ministry.
