Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani on the national holiday Feb. 10.
"On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you and the people of your country on the occasion of the national holiday of the Islamic Republic of Iran - Victory of the Islamic Revolution," the congratulatory message said.
President Aliyev wrote that he is confident that based on mutual confidence and support, intergovernmental relations will further grow and expand on bilateral, regional and international levels in accordance with the will of two countries' nations who have historically lived in an atmosphere of friendship and good neighborliness.
"On this remarkable day, I wish you robust health, success in your activities, and the friendly and fraternal people of Iran peace and prosperity," the president's message said.
