The next “Open door” day related to the winter exam semester was held at UNEC.

On the “Open door” day along with the rector of UNEC, the professor Adalat Muradov participated the members of the Public Supervisory Board - the member of the Parliament Hikmat Babaoghlu, the head of the “XXI Century” Educational Center Public Association Etibar Aliyev, the head of the Constitution Researches Foundation, the member of the joint group for Human rights Alimammad Nuriyev and the correspondent of the “525-th newspaper” Sevinj Garayeva.

The appeals incoming to the “Open door” were mainly related to the increase of exam results and the violation of disciplinary rules.

After the appeals had been received, the rector gave instructions to the relevant structural managers for their investigation and taking the appropriate measures in the direction of their operative solution.

After the reception the exchange of views on the organization of exams was held. It was noted that, 12,000 students on the bachelor’s degree in general had taken 72,000 exams within the winter semester.

It was noted that 1,346 (0.53 percent) appeals had been accepted related to the exams, and only 239 of them were considered as reasonable and 760 applications were being revised. The members of the Board highly appreciated the paucity of appeals and applications and appraised it as positive results of organization of high level teaching and examinations at UNEC.
