The admission to the drifting school established by the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation has been announced in Azerbaijan, the federation said in a statement Oct. 3.
The training courses at the drifting school will be conducted by experts of the International Automobile Federation. The training courses for children will be held by the champion of Ireland and the UK in drifting Duane McKeever, the champion of Germany and the Netherlands Sebastian Fontijn, and a Red Bull athlete, three-times champion of Ukraine in drifting Aleksandr Grinchuk.
The purpose of the opening of the drifting school is to develop motor sports, to increase interest in this field, to educate local athletes and specialists who will be able to represent Azerbaijan at international competitions.

The participation in the drifting lessons is on a paid basis.
The first lessons will be held from October 11 to October 14 on the territory of the Baku Seaside National Park.
