Center for Azerbaijani Studies at Russia’s Ural Federal University may expand its activities

The Center for Azerbaijani Studies at Russia’s Ural Federal University may expand its activities, Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​Kamal Abdulla told Trend on Sept. 11.

He said that so far, the universities have maintained close relations. However, the signing of a cooperation agreement have made these relations more concrete, he added.

The rector also expressed hope that thanks to the signed agreement, the Center for Azerbaijani Studies operating at the Ural Federal University will be able to expand its activities.

The cooperation agreement between the Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin and the Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​was signed Sept. 11 during a meeting of Azerbaijani Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Governor of Russia’s Sverdlovsk Region Yevgeny Kuyvashev.
