On March 12, at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, an awards ceremony was held for the winners and prize-winners of the 28th World Acrobatic Gymnastics Championship among women's and men's groups in the balance exercise program, as well as among mixed pairs in the tempo exercise program, Trend reports.

Among the women's groups in the balance exercise program, the first step of the podium was taken by representatives of the United States, the second position was taken by the women's group from Belgium, the third place was taken by the group representing Austria.

Among the mixed pairs in the program of the tempo exercise, the gold medal was won by the duet from Belgium - Bram Roettger and Helena Heyens, the silver medal was won by the representatives of Azerbaijan Agasif Rahimov and Razia Seidli, the bronze medals were won by Natasha Hutchinson and Dylan Howells, representing Great Britain.

Among the men's groups in the balance exercise program, the first place was taken by the group representing Belgium, the second position was taken by athletes from the UK, and the third place was taken by the men's group from Israel.

The 28th FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships is being held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku from March 10 through March 13.

Some 170 gymnasts from 17 countries are participating in the championship, which is being held in Baku for the first time.

The women's, mixed and men's pairs, women's and men's groups are demonstrating the balance, tempo and combined exercises at the competitions.
