BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 6. The Azerbaijani army continues work aimed at improving the professionalism of the personnel under the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, within the preparation for the Efes-2022 multinational exercises, Azerbaijani servicemen completed the tasks of penetrating behind mock enemy lines by sea, de-mining the coastline, raiding a coastal military facility of the mock enemy and neutralizing terrorists.
The Efes-2022 is planned to be held in Izmir from May through June 2022 in four stages.
Besides, it’s planned that Azerbaijani military personnel will also participate in various international exercises, seminars and conferences throughout this year, added the ministry.
