BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. "Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2023" joint tactical exercises between Azerbaijani and Turkish armed forces continue, Trend reports.

During today's exercises, Azerbaijani and Turkish commando units carried out joint actions to liberate positions located on the contact line with the notional enemy and advance troops, using radio interference against the notional enemy's UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and preventing it from fulfilling its combat mission (reconnaissance).

In order to ensure the safety of the flights of the Air Force's aircraft and helicopters, an operation will be conducted to create obstacles to the activities of the notional enemy's Air Force means.

Additionally, organized advancement of units will be ensured, maintaining the achieved firepower superiority and facilitating the movement of tactical groups and special purpose groups formed by Azerbaijani and Turkish military personnel.

Moreover, after the opening of passages through minefields by engineering units, joint tactical and special groups will carry out raids on the positions of the conditional enemy, take measures to destroy it and capture the front line, and destroy the 9K720 Iskander and OTR-21 Tochka tactical missile systems of the conditional enemy using Bayraktar TB2, while it is planned to capture the positions of the conditional enemy by infantry by firing and maneuvering, as well as landing troops from infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs).

An airborne landing consisting of special-purpose groups from both countries will also be carried out behind the conditional enemy's line to capture an official.
