BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. On a working visit to Türkiye, key officials of the Ministry of Defense and the State Border Service of Azerbaijan attended Distinguished Visitors Day at the EFES-2024 multinational exercise in Izmir, Trend reports via the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.
The ministry reported that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and National Defense Minister Yasar Guler spoke on Distinguished Visitors Day.
"Azerbaijani representatives saw Turkish Stars demonstration flights and parachute jumps after touring the Defense Industry Exhibition.
Later, with 1,567 participants from 49 nations, the EFES-2024 global exercise held the awarding ceremony.
In the end, a solemn concert program was presented," the ministry added.
To note, EFES-2024 multinational exercise will be ongoing until May 30.
