BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. The excise rate on disposable electronic cigarettes, hookahs, and their substitutes in the amount of one piece has been increased from 0.25 to 2 manat ($1.1), Trend reports.
According to information, it was reflected in the amendment made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan to the resolution "Excise rates on excisable goods imported to the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan".
The excise rate per 1000 pieces of tobacco products imported to Azerbaijan containing tobacco or regenerated tobacco intended for inhalation has been increased from 14 ($8.2) to 16 manat ($9.4).
This resolution will come into force 30 days from the date of its publication.
