FUZULI, Azerbaijan, July 27. Development gains momentum in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, US traveler Vijayalakshmi Parthasarthy told reporters during a visit to the Fuzuli district, Trend reports.

"The last few days have been truly wonderful. I have never been to Azerbaijan before. It's beautiful here, and the people are very friendly. I definitely plan to stay here longer. I would like to see more places in this large country. People who have already visited these areas say that many new buildings and facilities have been constructed," she said.

The traveler pointed out that the landmine issue in the liberated territories is very serious.

"It would be good if the international community came together to find a solution to this problem," she added.

To note, over 360 international travelers from almost 50 countries have visited Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur 10 times in large groups during the last 4 years.

A group of international travelers made another trip to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur on July 25–27, organized by the travel club MTP (Most Traveled People), one of the four largest networks of travelers around the world. This is the 11th MTP trip in a row. The group is led by Charles Veley, who is the founder and head of the MTP club. His name is in the top 10 in the international ranking of world travelers. Previously, Veley has traveled to the liberated territories four times, in three of which he led MTP lineups.
