LACHIN, Azerbaijan, August 6. I want to act in the name of glorifying Azerbaijan, Nilufar Ibrahimi, an Azerbaijani student from Leipzig University, a participant in the V Summer Camp for Diaspora Youth, told Trend.

She highlighted her constant interest in social activities.

"After graduating from high school in Baku in 2020, I got the opportunity to visit the US as a finalist of the Future Leaders Exchange Program. Then I joined the local Association of Azerbaijani Alumni of US Universities. I'm actively working in two organizations: as the chair of the AIESEC (International Association of Students in Economics and Business) committee in Leipzig and a Young European Ambassador.

AIESEC is a global platform for youth aimed at developing their leadership potential through practical experiences such as internships or volunteer opportunities. It's a non-governmental and non-profit organization created after World War II, in 1948 to establish peace between countries and is entirely youth-run for youth," said Ibrahimi.

Besides, the Azerbaijani student pointed out that upon learning about the V Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth, she applied and joined the event.

"I wanted to meet my compatriots living in different parts of the world and, of course, visit our liberated lands. The events are very interesting, and in the past few days, I have learned a lot of new things. After returning to Germany, I want to cooperate with the diaspora and act to glorify Azerbaijan. I recommend Azerbaijanis living abroad participate in the next summer camps," Ibrahimi added.

To note, the V Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth "Youth for a Green World" is being held on the ancient Azerbaijani land – in Lachin, organized by the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora together with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, on August 1–7.
