BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 28. The bench with a sign “In honor of Azerbaijani-Canadian relations” has been installed in Kiwanis Park, located in the Canadian city of Regina, the statement of the State Committee for Diaspora Work of Azerbaijan said, Trend reports.
According to the information, the plaque on the bench, installed on the initiative of the Cultural Association of Azerbaijanis of Regina, noted that diplomatic relations were officially established between the two multicultural countries - Azerbaijan and Canada, on August 10, 1992.
The community members mentioned that this initiative is an event uniting the common values of the two countries and wished that the relations of friendship and partnership between Azerbaijan and Canada continue in the future.
