JABRAYIL, Azerbaijan, October 5. The masonry of 334 private houses being built for the resettlement of 1,395 people in Horovlu has been completed in the first phase, and exterior and interior finishing works are currently underway, Trend reports.
According to the information, the total projected area is 248 ha. It is envisaged that in the long run, this village will be home to 3,470 people (867 families).
The houses under construction are two-, three-, four-, and five-room houses. The construction of a school building, kindergarten, and catering facilities is also underway here.
Meanwhile, it was noted that to ensure an uninterrupted water supply to the village, a project to restore the pre-existing kahrizas (underground water channel) has also been implemented.
The foundation of Horovlu village was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on May 4, 2023.
