BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. A total of 822 families (3,132 residents) settled in apartment buildings in the center of Azerbaijan's Fuzuli city, Sabuhi Abdullayev, deputy executive director of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, said at the Caspian Construction Week in Baku today, Trend reports.

He pointed out that 38 multi-story buildings have been constructed in the city, along with four-, five-, six-, and seven-story houses totaling 846 apartments.

"According to the master plan, the length of intra-city roads is expected to exceed 87 kilometers. Additionally, the 960-seat Mirza Ulughbek School No. 1, built by Uzbekistan, and the Kurmangazy Children's Creativity Center, built by Kazakhstan, are functioning in Fuzuli," the official highlighted.

Abdullayev emphasized that construction work is also ongoing in the villages.

"Restoration work is beginning in Pirahmadli village, while preparatory work has been completed in Dovlatyarli village. It will be rebuilt as part of the 'smart village' project, which will also incorporate alternative energy sources and green energy.

The first phase involves the construction of 450 private houses in Dovlatyarli. A school, kindergarten, market, and other infrastructure facilities will also be built here. Project work continues in Juvarli, Garghabazar, Gochahmadli, and Dadali villages," he added.

To note, from October 15 through 17, the Caspian Construction Week is taking place at the Baku Expo Center, which is an important event in the construction industry of the region. Caspian Construction Week brings together various companies in the construction industry from several countries of the world on a single platform. Currently, more than 380 companies from 22 countries are represented at exhibitions held as part of the Caspian Construction Week.
