Azerbaijan will celebrate in grand style вЂ" for the first time вЂ" the world population day, on July 11.
The press office of the National Council of Youth Organizations
of Azerbaijan (AGTMS) told Trend that a solemn ceremony, dedicated to celebrations, will be arranged in Cinema Club in the Baku Boulevard.
Ministers Abulfaz Garayev for Youth, Sports and Tourism and Ali Nagiyev for Labor and Social Security, UN Resident Coordinator for Azerbaijan, Marco Borsotti, as well as other state and governmental officials and representatives of foreign legations, active in country, have been invited to participate in the event.
The world population day is celebrated on July 11 each year since 1948, when the United Nations first initiated this date.
