The State Committee of Azerbaijan on land and cartography gets ready maps of the Shah-Dag National Park, required for the signing of the loan agreement with the World Bank
on funding this rural ecological project, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Huseyn Bagirov told Trend.
According to him, for making the maps the World Bank allocated $150,000. “The sides coordinated all issues on the project and it is expected, that signing of the agreement will be possible till the year-end”, Bagirov said.
The project’s total price is $17,1 million, 50% of which is the grant. The World Bank is planned to allocate $8 million for this project under РњРђР terms. Two grants are planned to allocate for the project implementation: $5 million- from the funds of the Global Ecological Foundation and $2,72 million вЂ" by the government of Japan. Thus, the government’s share in the project will be $1,38 million.
