Irada Ashumova, the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Athens, demonstrated 17th result at the European championship on bullet shooting, held in Moscow.
Ashumova entered the category of 20 best sportswomen at the qualification stage on shooting through air gun within 10 meters, Trend reports. She scored 380 points and did not manage to reach the final. Ashumova lacked only two exact shots in order to join the strongest sportswomen and contest medals at the final stage of the program.
Dane Susanna Meyerholf became the leader of the championship, Natalia Paderina from Russia gained a silver medal, Pole Beata Bartco ranked 3rd.
